| 1895 |
Yamaoka Kappan-jo, a letterpress print shop, was founded in Kyobashi, Tokyo. |
| 1948 |
After WW II, Kageyasu Yamaoka revived the print shop in Kanda, Tokyo, with its new name Sanbi Insatsu-jo. |
| 1949 |
Sanbi Insatsu-jo was incorporated to Sanbi Insatsu K.K. (=Sanbi Printing Co.,Ltd. in English). |
| 1962 |
Built the head office building in Nishinippori, Tokyo, and moved there from Kanda. |
| 1967 |
Built a factory for the company's first offset printing, in Machiya, Tokyo. |
| 1970 |
Equipped the company's first computer-aided phototypesetting system. |
| 1978 |
Equipped IBM System 32. |
| 1981 |
Equipped SAPTRON system. It enabled mathmatical formulas typesetting with computer-aided phototypesetting, which had been considered impossible in those days. |

Built a new factory in Machiya, Tokyo. All the company's dispersed printing facilities were integrated into this new factory. |
